MINDFULNESS AND SELF-COMPASSION
As a mindfulness and self-compassion practioner, the foundation of my work is based on the belief that we are each whole, with nothing about us that is broken or needs to be fixed. Rather, as we have moved through the world we have taken on patterns of thoughts and behaviors that may no longer serve us.
My intention in each session is to create a brave and sacred space for clients to explore their patterning with kindness and compassion. Through creating a nurturing relationship with what is present and releasing shame, we are then able to be responsive to difficult thoughts, emotions, sensations, and patterns of behaviors to create space for our authentic selves to emerge. This work ultimately connects us with our own innate wisdom, learning to look within for the answers.
Mindfulness and Self-Compassion are qualities of awareness that we can cultivate in small moments as we move through our day. The benefits are scientifically proven to reduce stress, decrease anxiety, improve focus, and even help us sleep better.
With years of experience sharing these practices along with my own practice and multidisciplinary studies in Trauma-Informed Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, Somatic Experiencing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Spiritual Life Coaching, I work with individuals meeting each one where they are.
My goal is to facilitate a path of mindful and compassionate living that is customized to each client through deep listening, psycho-education, powerful questioning and supportive accountability.

“Between the stimulus and response, there is a space. And in that space lies our freedom and power to choose our responses. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”
